Intercessory Prayer Ministry

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men… ~ 1 Timothy 2:1

imageThe Intercessory Prayer Ministry enlists a team of intercessors who are passionate about praying for others. They provide prayer support for the pastors and their families, the leaders and the general congregation of the Power of Faith Ministries. Additionally, they meet on a weekly basis to lay the concerns of the people before God, seeking Him for direction, deliverance, healing, miracles and times of refreshing from the Holy Spirit.

Meetings are held every Monday at 7:30pm and prayer gathering on every Friday at 7:30pm. If there is a need for personal prayer, arrangements are made to facilitate it.

The ministry also engages in house prayer meetings, hospital visits and engagement in spiritual warfare.

As Moses commanded the Levites of old to never let the seven-branched menorah go out in the Tabernacle, so the Intercessory Prayer ministry endeavors.

The Pastors’ Care Committee (PC)

“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward”. ~ 1 Timothy 5:17-18.

imageThe purpose of the Pastors’ Care Committee is to encourage, affirm, advocate for, and give loving support to our Pastor, Assistant Pastor and their families.  Team members are committed to praying for our pastoral staff and his families and to stay connected to them regarding special needs/events.

All year long, the team is tasked with encouraging the body and reminding them of special ways to encourage and appreciate the pastors throughout the year.  The Committee coordinates fundraising activities to provide gifts and other support to the pastors, spouses, and children on birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and other special occasions through the year. Occasionally, they plan activities to appreciate other Ministers of the Church.
